Today's journey across Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and into Pennsylvania was indeed a journey. As we packed the bus this morning and set out, the tired choir and puppeteers eventually warmed up and began moving about the bus. Time was spent with old friends, making new friends, sleeping, as well as sharing stories and talents amongst the group. At one point even a fort was built in the back if the bus...
We stopped in Toledo, Ohio for lunch in which we had a couple of options, the bus re-fueled and again we were on our way. Only 3.5 hours from Grove City during lunch, the crowd was fairly quiet for the ride into Grove City to stay at Best Western, watching School of Rock and being with friends.
Dinner was great! The food was delicious and our servers loved when we sung Siahamba to them! We did our vespers in and around the pool and ate cookies for Amy's birthday, then finally ended with free time. We had a blast and were looking forward to the trip and tour of NYC tomorrow(a last minute addition via request of our driver Paul, who was in the Trade Center on 9/11). What a day ahead!
More to come soon!
